More and more leather can be found in our cars these days. No matter if on the steering wheel, the seats, dashboard and arm rest or in the doors – we just want to feel cozy and comfortable. And we want to be assured that this leather keeps its shape, does not smell nor releases any unwanted emissions. We want the leather to keep its color, to be easy to clean and certainly to remain soft and smooth.

Especially for automotive leather there are the highest standards in terms of sustainability from the production up to the recycling, but also in terms of ageing, emissions, smell and longevity.

Schill+Seilacher, by the way, invented the chrome-free tanning process with our Derugan products. This helps as much as our high performance fatliquors like Lipsol HP or Lipsol MSG to safely meet this very high standards.
